About Us
Geno Interior began with an old piece of furniture no one was expected to keep.
It had passed through many homes, many years, and even a fire. Its surface was scarred, and one repair had been done badly decades before. Yet it remained the most valuable piece in the house, not because of its price, but because of the life that had happened around it.
Generations had gathered beside it. Letters had been written on it. Important news had been shared across it. The wood had darkened slowly, the way only solid wood can.
That piece became the reason Geno Interior exists.
Made To Be Kept
We started with a simple question: why are so few things made today that people will still keep tomorrow? Much of modern furniture is built to be cheaper, faster, and replaceable. It is bought, assembled, used for a few years, and discarded. We wanted to make something different, the kind of piece that stays.
A Workshop, Not A Factory
So we built a workshop, not a factory. In our workshop, each piece is made with care from solid, natural wood. One maker selects the wood, shapes it, joins it, finishes it, and signs it before it leaves. There is no production line and no rush. The process is slower, but the result is stronger, more honest, and made to last.
Built For Generations
The name Geno comes from “generation”
It reflects our promise: to create furniture that can live with a family for years, deepen with age, and become more meaningful over time. A Geno piece is not made only for the room it enters today. It is made for the years, homes, and stories that come after.
Only Solid Wood
We use only solid wood, no veneer, no engineered core, no surface pretending to be something else. Solid wood is heavier, more demanding, and more expensive to work with. But it carries a depth and life that cannot be copied. Its grain settles. Its color deepens. Its character grows.
Furniture With Meaning
We believe furniture is more than a purchase. It becomes part of a room, part of a routine, and eventually part of a family’s story. The best pieces do not need to shout. They are felt before they are noticed. That is the kind of furniture we choose to make.
Built Slowly, Built Honestly
Geno Interior is a small workshop of makers and finishers who care deeply about the work. We do not chase mass production, trends, or seasonal collections. We work slowly, one piece at a time, with wood, hands, and patience. We are not trying to be the largest workshop. We are building the piece that survives the fire.
